De data aceasta,o sa promovez niste artisti talentati din Romania,prieteni de ai mei,care vin cu un album lucrat 100% de ei,intitulat “Exemple”.Voi posta clip-ul single-ului,pe care daca ar trebui sa-l traduc in engleza cred ca ar fi “Keep up”,si in acelasi timp voi posta un interviu cu Kido si Rabie,membrii trupei Personal.
This time,I will promote some talented artists from Romania,good friends of mine,witch come with an album that`s 100% made by them,called “Examples”.I will post the video of their single,witch if I would have to translate in English,I think it would be called “Keep up”,and at the same time,I will post an interview with Kido and Rabie,the members of the group called Personal.
Fabian – Salutare Personal. Sa intram direct in “paine”- spuneti-ne ce proiecte pregatiti pentru viitor ?
Personal – Salutari la toata lumea ! Se prepara solo Kido, solo Rabie si mai apoi albumul 4 Personal.
Fabian – In 2004, anul in care trupa Personal a aparut, ati avut si primul vostru concert – La Cluj, orasul vostru. Cum a fost prima oara pe scena ?
Personal – Da! Adevarat! Am aparut in Ianuarie 2004 iar la putin timp am avut si primul concert aici la Cluj. Hehehe.. A fost o experienta unica cu siguranta pentru noi dar e un sentiment destul de greu de descris in cateva randuri! Pe scurt… Un clubulet foarte mic, vandusem vreo 30 de bilete – putin profesionalism in tot ceea ce a insemnat eventul in sine dar in final s-a lasat cu distractie si atmosfera marfa!
Fabian – Pe cand preconizati publicarea solo`urilor si a albumului 4 Personal ?
Personal – Tot ce putem sa spunem e ca incercam sa terminam solo-urile pana in primavara lui 2010 si spre toamna sa dam drumu’ la albumul 4 Personal. Deocamdata mai e multa munca si o sumedenie de factori care pot influenta mai mult sau mai putin aparitia lor.
Fabian – Fiecare trupa / artist isi doreste o colaborare “tare”. Voi cu cine ati vrea sa faceti un feat? (din Romania)
Personal – Nu stiu daca exista o voce anume in Romania cu care am vrea sa colaboram, sunt multi artisti aparte atat din noua generatie cat si printre veterani! Consideram ca ar iesi o colaborare “tare” cu oricine care s-a remarcat pe la noi atata timp cat vor exista puncte comune in raport cu caracterele noastre, cu felul nostru de a fi, de a trai, de a aborda probleme in sine.. Indiferent despre ce e vorba!
Fabian – Ati inregistrat albumul « Exemple » aici la noi, in « Scandalos Music ». Aveti piesa cu Sisu, mai e si DJ Wicked.. Care e relatia voastra cu La Familia ? Vom mai auzi piese Personal ft. Sisu sau Personal ft Wicked ?
Personal – Relatia intre noi si La Familia s-a creat de-a lungul timpului. Au fost cateva show-uri pe care am avut placerea sa le deschidem – in special cele de la Cluj – Odata cu show-urile relatia s-a dezoltat de la sine. Am invatat multe de la ei si consideram ca mai avem ce invata. Legat de piese, da, cred ca vor urma si altele!
Fabian – Cine se ocupa de mixaj / master la materialele voastre ?
Personal – Nu exista cineva anume care se ocupa de partea asta. Primele 2 albume sunt mixate si masterizate de Click (Camuflaj) iar Exemple de Neko. Am incercat mereu sa avem un sound cat mai bun speram sa reusim si pe viitor.
Fabian – Nu v-ati gandit sa faceti un clip « pentru sticla » ?
Personal – Ne-am gandit, evident! Cred ca fiecare artist isi doreste asta! Treaba se complica atunci cand “sticla” are un anumit standard pe care tu ca artist independent nu reusesti sa il atingi atat de simplu. Iar in plus, toata lumea stie ca daca nu impingi nimic prin locurile cheie nu prea ai sanse sa apari pe sticla lor.
Fabian – Multi artisti refuza sa mai colaboreze cu o casa de discuri, deoarece sunt defavorizati de aceasta. Voi ce parere aveti ?
Personal – Nu putem comenta concret aceasta problema, deoarce nu am colaborat niciodata cu o casa de discuri! Suntem de parere ca si artistii si casele de discuri au vina lor in aceasta ecuatie!
Fabian – Ce (sau cine) va inspira in muzica ?
Personal – Cred ca ne inspira tot ceea ce se intampla in jurul nostru – Cu bune si rele, vrute si nevrute!
Fabian – Ce parere aveti despre hip-hop`ul romanesc din ultimii 2 ani sa zicem ? A evoluat ?
Personal– Da ! Au evoluat multi artisti si producatori, iar odata cu acestia s-au dezvoltat si alte industrii, de exemplu echipe ca Ador Media sau Media Skill care se ocupa de filmarile videoclipurilor de pe la noi. Organizatii de genu BlackoutMagazine care sunt foarte utile in cazul Romaniei si al artistilor independenti. Per total cred ca ar fi mai corect sa zicem ca ne-am modernizat, actualizat cumva fata de ce se intampla afara. Dar ar fi bine ca toata lumea sa fie constienta ca suntem foarte mediocri ca industrie sau mai bine zis infrastructura ei!

Fabian – Hey Personal.Let`s get straight to business-tell us what projects are your going to prepare in the future?
Personal – Hey everybody!We’re preparing Kido`s solo album,Rabie`s solo album,and Personal`s 4th album.
Fabian – Back in 2004,the year when Personal got in the business,you had your first show – In Cluj,your hometown.How was your first time on the stage?
Personal – Yeah!For Real!We got in the business in 2004 and we soon had our first show here in Cluj.He he…it was for sure an unique experience for us and it`s a feeling that is hard to describe in just a few lines!To make it quick…a tiny club,we sold a few tickets(about 30) – very low rated profesionalism in everything that had to do with the event but in the end we all had a great time and the atmosphere was awsome!
Fabian – When do you think you will release the solos and the Personal album?
Personal – All that we can say is that we try to finish the solos untill the spring of 2010 and by the start of 2010`s autumn,to release the 4th Personal album.For the moment we still have a lot of work to do and there are a lot of things that can influence the date that our albums should be released on.
Fabian – Every band/artist wants a “tight” colabo`.Who would you like to make a feat. with?(From Romania)
Personal – We don`t know if there`s a certain voice in Romania that we would like to colaborate with…there are a lot of special artists,both from the new and old generation!We think that it would be great to work with anyone who has appeared somewhere,as long as we have common things in the way that we see things,in the way that we are,that we live,that we take care of problems…
Fabian – You`ve recorded the album “Examples”,here at us,at “Scandalos Music”.You have a song with Sisu,DJ Wicked is also close to you…what`s your relationship with La Familia?Will we hear featurings with Sisu and Dj Wicked again?
Personal – The relationship between us and La Familia was built in time.There were some shows that we had the pleasure to open – especially those from Cluj – Once the show number grew,the relationship grew by itself.We`ve learned a lot from them and still have more to learn.Speaking about the featurings…YES,I think there are more to come!
Fabian – `Who`s mixing your songs?
Personal – There`s not just one person that`s mixing our materials.The first 2 albums where mixed by Click(Camuflaj) and the 3rd was mixed by Neko.We always wanted to have a good sound,and we hope to have it in the future as well.
Fabian – Have you ever tought about making a video for the TV?
Personal – Of course we did!Every artists wants this!It gets complicated though when the TV has some standards,that you,as an independent artists,can`t reach to.Plus,everybody knows that if you don`t push something to the places where you have to…you can`t be on their TV.
Fabian – A lot of artists refuse to colaborate with record labels,because they are disadvantaged by them.What do you think about this?
Personal – We can`t comment on this problem,because we never had a deal with a record label!We think that they both have their guilt.
Fabian – Where do you get your inspiration from?
Personal – Everything that`s happenin around us,with good and bad,wanted and unwanted.
Fabian – What do you think about the romanian hip hop in the past 2 years?Do you see any progress?
Personal – Yes!A lot of artists and producers got better,and along with them,other industries as well.For example,teams such as Ador Media or Media Skill wich shoot videos for us.Projects such as Blackout Magazine are very usefull for independent artists in Romania.I think that we`re getting closer to what`s abroad.But it would be better for everyone to notice that our infrastracture is very mediocre.
